4-2-3-1 formation – how Liverpool could line up next season with €60m-rated Germany international

Egypt international forward Mohammed Salah got injured in the UEFA Champions League final in Kiev and German tactician Jurgen Klopp had no quality substitute to replace the attacker on the field.

In such a circumstance, Liverpool must bring in a top quality attacker and they are believed to want €60million-valued German Julian Brandt.

The 22-year-old has featured in over 150 matches for Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. The playmaker has the ability to dribble past opponents with both feet, and also the ability to play on either wing effectively. Therefore, Brandt can replace Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah if need be.

Furthermore, Julian Brandt can also play from the central attacking midfield role and he could be the playmaker to finally replace Brazil international Philippe Coutinho at Anfield Stadium.

In case the player’s are fully fit, we can expect the Liverpool boss to utilize the German as the most offensive midfielder in the favoured 4-3-3 set up. The Ex-Borussia Dortmund manager could also use a 4-2-3-1 formation.
