chelsea vs leicester city probable lineup

Chelsea are set to face Leicester city at the King Power stadium on Saturday but will be without Diego Costa following reports of training ground bust-up between the Spain striker and Antonio Conte over injury issues.

Reliable reports have it that Costa has not traveled with the Blues squad but it is very unlikely for Michy Batshuayi who could be transfer-bound this month. Conte will hope his men bounce back in the league after their slump against Spurs in their last Premier League encounter.

Predicted line-up

Thibaut Courtois concede two goals against Tottenham Hotspurs but still expected to keep his place in the starting eleven.

Gary Cahill should be in the defence alongside David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta at the back

Victor Moses and Marco Alonso are expected to run the left and right flanks as usual while the midfield area should be occupied by Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante .

Pedro and Willian are expected to start in the front three while Eden Hazard replaced the embattled Diego Costa as a ‘False 9’.

In a 3-4-3 formation: Courtois | Cahill, David Luiz, Azpilicueta | Alonso, Matić, Kanté, Moses | Pedro, Hazard, Willian

Leicester City predicted line-up in a 4-4-2 formation:

Schmeichel | Simpson, Fuchs, Huth, Morgan | King, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Gray |  Vardy, Okazaki.
