According to reports from The Times, Merseyside giants Liverpool could confirm the acquisition of World Cup star Xherdan Shaqiri by the weekend.

Talks over a £12m transfer deal are progressing, as per reports, with Harry Wilson expected to go the opposite way.

The Switzerland international winger has been expected to leave Stoke City following their ‘drop’ to the English Championship.
